A family friend of mine has opened a nice Swedish restaurant in Daejeon, Korea (as in South). They only serve Swedish and Western style food, unfortunately no kimchi. But seeing the restaurant serves “Western style food” it’s rather expensive to eat there… at least for Koreans. They don’t have Swedish meatballs on the menu instead they have more fancy Swedish dishes.
One of the owners the one I sort of know, has lived in Sweden for at least 20 years so if you ever see the male owner you could speak Swedish too him. The owners are Korean natives and siblings.
The interior design isn’t Korean and has been designed by a Swedish architect and it’s very contemporary and modern too be Korea. It’s on the 6th floor so you should be able to enjoy a nice view of the city with your food.
